▷ Itinerary: 7 Days From Marrakech

Day 1: Marrakech – Ait ben haddou – Dades Gorges

We will leave your accommodation in Marrakech at 8:00 am. direction Ouarzazate, we cross the High Atlas mountains with its beautiful panoramic views of the Berber villages, we will stop at Telouat to visit the Glaoui kasbah, then we cross the valley of Ounila to wait for the kasbah of Ait ben haddou, after the guided tour visit of the famous kasbah we continue towards Ouarzazate with a stop at the film studios and the kasbah of Taouririte, from there we continue towards the kasbah Amridil in Skoura. Then we will drive to Kelaa mgouna known for growing roses, then we will follow the Dades Valley to the Dades Gorge where we will spend the night in a local hotel with dinner.

Day 2: Dades Gorges – Todra Gorges – Merzouga

After breakfast we continue towards boumalne and Tinghir, passing through Imeder, in Tinghir we will visit the old Jewish village, and we continue to the Todra gorges for lunch and a walk between the goreges, in the afternoon our desert trip will take us to the oasis of Tafilalt in Erfoud, here we will visit a fossil museum, then we will continue to the desert of Merzouga, here you will enjoy the camel ride to reach the dunes camp of the ‘Erg chebbi. You admire the sunset and spend the night in nomadic tents, with a delicious dinner.

Day 3: Merzouga

After the magical spectacle of the sunrise in the dunes you will have your breakfast, and we leave on camels back to the village of Merzouga, we leave in 4 × 4 to explore the desert landscapes, we stop to visit a family nomad, and we will visit the Mines of Mifis, then we stop in the village of Khamilia to discover the music of the Gnaoua, and after a Berber pizza for lunch, we return on camel back to our camp, where you enjoy ‘a charming evening around a campfire, dinner and night in nomadic tents.

Day 4: Merzouga – Nkob – Zagora

We will leave the Erg Chebbi dunes on camel back after breakfast, then we will continue our 4 × 4 trip to Rissani, here we will visit the big market of Tafilalt, and the mausoleum of Molay Ali Cherif, from there we will continue to Zagora via Alnif, Tazarine, Taghbalte and the Hamada desert, We will have several photo stops along this magnificent desert road, we will arrive at the end of the day at your hotel in Zagora, dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Zagora – Chegaga

We leave for the dunes of chegaga after your breakfast, we stop to see the library of manuscripts at Tamgroute, then we go to Mhamid, after discovering the village we continue to the dunes of chegaga where we will spend the night at the camp under the stars. Dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Chegaga – Taznakht – Taroudante – Essaouira

We will leave the dunes of Chegaga after your breakfast, pass by the Eriki dry lake, then we will continue to Taznakht known by these Berber carpets, and we will then head to Taliouine and Taroudante, from there we continue to Essaouira, dinner and night in a riad.

Day 7: Essaouira – Marrakech

We explore the medina and the port, then we leave for Marrakech, we stop to see an argan oil cooperative before continuing to Marrakech, we will drop you off at your accommodation.
